With West Bromwich Albion looking to put Brentford frustrations behind them as the visitors to The Hawthorns on Monday evening secured a late point, there are high hopes ahead of Friday evening’s Championship clash with Aston Villa.
Dean Smith’s side head to our home soil for the tie and our form sees us unbeaten in four with three wins, but the Villans head into the game without defeat in the last five having won four.
Disappointing result in the end yesterday, thought we deserved a lot more out of the game! Time to prepare for the big one Friday 🔵⚪️

Both sides, I think it’s fair to say, can be considered to have dodgy defences and with both teams offence-minded, this could be a cracker.
With on-loan Leicester starlet Harvey Barnes already making himself a Player of the Season contender with his performances, plenty of fans feel he can make the telling difference in the next one and silence some of the hype surrounding Jack Grealish.
Please win on Friday Harvey! You'll be a Baggies legend if you score against the Villa ????

Good luck for Friday .

Focusing too much on a clean sheet is probably why we bottled last night. Just go back to what we're good at, scoring goals goals and more goals. Who cares if we concede 2 but score 4? Besides, it's more fun anyway ????

@harveybarnes97 I promise to name one of my kids after you ☝️

Nice goal BTW. Gotta beat the Villa though. My grandfather taught me to dislike them when I was small. I'm 53 now! Boing Boing!

There’s got to be more than one goal in this one for me, going to be very different from the Tony Pulis clashes!
