With West Bromwich Albion’s search for a new head coach continuing (slowly) following our failure to gain promotion from the Championship back into the Premier League in the 2018/19 campaign with our Play-Off Semi-Final failure, plenty of names have been linked and we now see speculation suggesting we’re hoping to tempt Sheffield United manager Chris Wilder to The Hawthorns.
With it seeming on the media rumour mill that our favourite is Bundesliga based Bruno Labbadia, but the Wolfsburg boss being more expensive on a wage front and what he’d likely want in terms of a transfer budget, I have absolutely no idea what they are serving in Sky Sports’ canteen, but I want some.
Understand #wbafc are interested in making #sufc manager Chris Wilder their new boss. Would be amazing if he left Prem chance, but he is increasingly frustrated by budget limitations and political rows at Sheff Utd behind the scenes.

Having led Sheffield United into the top flight this season with their second place finish, and seen two promotions in three seasons, despite the off pitch owner battles that are on going at Bramall Lane and the local court, there’s no way in hell he’s leaving his boyhood club.
Pride aside, it’s win, win for Wilder in 2019/20 with the distractions. He’ll either be more of a hero, or if it all goes wrong and they tumble straight back down, he’ll take no blame at all.
Clearly, I’m not the only one who realises this.
Most ridiculous tweet of the week goes to Rob Dorsett ????
