Former West Brom manager Jimmy Shan is keen to raid the club for the loan signings of young trio Nick Clayton-Phillips, Jamie Soule and Rayhaan Tulloch, a report from the Birmingham Mail has claimed.
Shan, who took charge of the Baggies between March and June 2019, is currently manager of Solihull Moors, who narrowly missed out on a National League play-off place on a points-per-game basis following the early end to the campaign at that level this season.
Now it seems as though Shan will look to take advantage of his links with the Baggies as he aims to take Solihull into the Football League next season, with the latest reports revealing that 20-year-old Clayton-Phillips is apparently a major target for Shan.
Soule and Tulloch – who are both 19 – are also identified as potential options, and with the trio all at an age where they ought to be thinking about gaining more senior experience, it does seem as though they could benefit from a loan move elsewhere next season.
Taking to Twitter to react to these links however, a number of West Brom fans were sceptical as to whether a spell at National League level would really suit the youngsters given the ability they already possess.
Here, we take a look at what some of them had to say.

If Solihull sign all 3 they’ll have the best strike force the non league will ever see

I would think Tulloch will have champ offers. I think even the other 2 would have league club offers too

I’d definitely be trying to get them loans but preferably at a higher level.

Would have thought Solihull were a bit too far down the pyramid for Tulloch.

They can play at a higher level than that. Especially Tulloch.
