Free-agent Jeremy Ngakia is a summer transfer target for West Brom, a report from a print edition of The Sun (27/07, p17) has claimed.
Ngakia is without a club since turning down a new deal with West Ham at the end of June, with the 19-year-old reportedly wanting a better salary than the one offered to him by the Hammers.
Now it seems as though West Brom could look to take advantage of that, with the latest reports claiming that the Baggies are interested in a move for the versatile teenager, as are Bundesliga side Schalke.
Prior to his departure from West Ham, Ngakia had made five Premier League appearances for David Moyes’ side this season, highlighting his potential as a top-level player.
Taking to Twitter to react to those reports linking the club with a move for Ngakia, plenty of West Brom fans were keen to have their say on the possibility of signing the attacker.
Here, we take a look at what some of those supporters had to say.

No idea who he is or what he is like. But I trust Slavs and clubs judgement after this year. I like this type signing – under radar no flash big name. The big name signings for us never work out

I presume if this happens it would be for a development/tribunal fee in the same way we will get a fee from palace for Ferguson. I hope we get our business done early this summer. Always seems best for teams when they don’t leave their transfers to the last minute.
