West Brom fans have had one hell of a season in the Championship during the current campaign, and they have a lot of people to thank for that. One of the more crucial parts of this strong season, though, is undoubtedly the 26-year-old shot-stopper, Sam Johnstone.

The fans understand that seemingly too, and whilst some supporters have been quick to give their gloveman stick this season, many are standing up and giving Johnstone the praise he deserves in response to their club’s recent Johnston appreciation post.
Only two teams, Leeds United and Fulham, have shipped fewer goals than West Brom this season in the Championship, showing just how talented their goalkeeper is, and should the Baggies achieve promotion this season then they’ve got a very good man between the sticks for the Premier League.
Does Sam Johnstone need replacing in the summer?
Yes

I think he is a very good keeper, just wish he came off his line for crosses more

I agree completely, nobody remembers how many times hes saved us. only remember the mistakes.

The Baggies clearly rate Johnstone and will be keen to see him continue his heroics for the rest of the season.
