West Brom went ape in last summer’s transfer window by bringing in plenty of new faces as Slaven Bilic constructed a team that has well and truly gone the distance in the Championship, and Semi Ajayi might have been the bargain of the bunch.

The Nigerian international has been essential to the Baggies this season, with the former Rotherham United defender starting 35 games in the Championship and scoring five along the way, which has been an impressive feat for a centre-back that only cost West Brom £1.5m in the summer.
Will Semi Ajayi get double-figure goals this season?
Yes
No
Former Baggies midfielder Nigel Quashie was full of praise for the former Rotherham man following the defender’s valiant display against Swansea City last Saturday, and lots of West Brom supporters have joined the ex-Albion star in lauding Ajayi for his impact on the club this season.
Here’s what plenty of West Brom fans had to say on Twitter about Ajayi…
Definately our bargain of the season 👌🏼

The former Arsenal academy player will be hoping he can help West Brom get over the line and claim automatic promotion with nine games left to play.
