West Brom’s recent win over West Ham in the FA Cup has ensured that the Baggies will be taking part in the FA Cup round of sixteen, and the draw last night for the competition saw the West Midlands side drawn out at home against either Newcastle or Oxford United.

This news has come as amazing news for the Championship table-toppers. The Baggies are set to face either a promotion-chasing League One team or a bottom-half of the table Premier League side, and with a win here they’ll be in the quarter-finals, where another favourable draw could see them go to Wembley.
You can understand why the Baggies are starting to dream, and if they do overcome whoever wins the replay between Newcastle and Oxford then this could turn out to be one of the Baggies most memorable seasons in recent memory, and for obvious reason.

Easy tie. When is the 1/4 final date?

Oh man this is great. If it’s oxford then surely we’ll win and if it’s NUFC it’s another chance to prove ourselves. We proved ourselves against WHU last week so let’s do it again!

I think I’d take Newcastle over Oxford

The Baggies cannot wait for the next round of the cup, and could be set to win both the Championship and the FA Cup if they continue in this way.
