Transfer News: West Brom set for frantic end to January with two attackers expected to sign

|

The January transfer window so far has been a fairly quiet one for the Baggies. Slaven Bilic will want to bring some new faces in but so far he hasn’t been able to add any attacking options to his side, however, that now looks like it could be set to change as we approach the final days.

The window is hotting up for a few clubs, and if you believe what is being written in The Express and Star, which we do, then there’ll be a lot of excitement as the Baggies are supposedly set to bring in two new attacking players, one of those is the Sheffield United man Jack Robinson, but the other is a more exciting prospect.

The loan signing of Robinson certainly looks like a brilliant one on paper, and whilst it would give the fans a huge added boost as they chase promotion, it’s not quite as interesting as the potential signing of 27-year-old Mislav Orsic, a countryman of Slaven Bilic and a Champions League calibre goalscorer.

Earlier this season the Dinamo Zagreb man bagged a treble in the Champions League against Atalanta yet now he could be set to sign for the Baggies, and if he does then the fans will have a lot to get very excited about, here’s what the reports state:

‘Croatian international Mislav Orsic is a player Bilic has confirmed his interest in.’

‘Albion are confident of securing the 27-year-old’s signature if the boss gives them the green light.’

‘But he is also keen on a deal for another forward whose identity remains unknown – with a number of factors still at play as to whether Albion go for Orsic or the mystery man’
