West Brom picked up another big win in their quest for promotion on Wednesday night, beating play-off chasing Derby County 2-0 at The Hawthorns.
That result now puts Slaven Bilic’s side back to the top of the Championship table, five points clear of third-placed Brentford in the race for automatic promotion.
The Baggies took the lead early in the game through Grady Diangana, before Dara O’Shea headed home from Matheus Pereira’s corner to seal all three points with around 15 minutes of the game remaining.
O’Shea’s header to seal the win was his first goal at The Hawthorns for the club, and just his second for the Baggies overall.
Can Dara O'Shea be a regular starter for West Brom next season?
Yes
No
With the 21-year-old also impressing in his more natural defensive position against a dangerous Derby side, plenty of West Brom fans were not surprisingly keen to pay tribute to the Irishman – who is still in his first season as part of the Baggies senior side – as they took to Twitter to give their thoughts after the game.
Here, we take a look at what some of those West Brom fans had to say about O’Shea’s performance.
O'Shea is the best player in the world and you can't convince me otherwise ๐ฎ๐ช
