West Bromwich Albion took another victory in the Championship campaign of 2018/19 as we faced Millwall last weekend, and with our aim being to try and bounce back to the Premier League at the first time of asking following relegation, the three points did lift us to third place in the second tier table.
Finding ourselves only one point behind both Middlesbrough and Leeds United who take top spot, the clubs’ social media team sent out a very simple graphic following the match.

Whilst it was spot on to say it’s ‘early days’ the responses it received from fans was mixed as some took tangents I wasn’t quite expecting when reading.
Aston Villa got the almost obligatory reference, others asked the club nicely to not post things like this for fear of omening ourselves given results so far, and one person seemed to not care about anything other than finishing above Tony Pulis come the end of the season.
Can’t see the Villa ????♂️

Just finish above Pulis for the love of God!

Goals scored and conceded are even. This pleases me more than it should.
