Baggies Word On The Tweet

‘Immense’ – Plenty of West Brom fans praise player who made eight clearances in Fulham draw

|

It was a night of mixed emotions for West Brom on Tuesday, as they drew 0-0 with Fulham at The Hawthorns.

Although the Baggies remain under pressure in the race for automatic promotion, that place in the Premier League for next season is still in their own hands, providing they can beat Huddersfield and QPR in their final two games of the season.

While it was a frustrating night for the attackers at The Hawthorns as the Baggies missed out on a number of chances to snatch a win, there were more positives defensively, not least thanks to Ahmed Hegazi.

Was Hegazi man of the match against Fulham?

Yes

No

The Egyptian, who was restored to the starting lineup after dropping after starting on the bench in the draw at Blackburn on Saturday, played a big role in keeping the likes of Aleksandar Mitrovic quiet, with WhoScored reporting that Hegazi made eight clearances throughout the course of the match, more than any other player on the pitch.

That is something that did not go unnoticed by the club’s supporters, with many West Brom fans heaping praise on Hegazi as they took to Twitter to give their reaction to the match.

Here, we take a look at what some of the Baggies faithful had to say about Hegazi’s performance against Fulham.
