With the November international break now upon us, plenty of West Bromwich Albion fans are reflecting on a very good start to the 2019/20 Championship campaign under Slaven Bilic as we go into the lull with a two point gap at the top of the second tier table.
Having kept our advantage with a 1-0 victory over Hull City, the aim will be to hit the ground running again when proper football returns and we face Sheffield Wednesday and then Bristol City before heading into December’s fixtures.
As well as some reflection on what we’ve achieved so far after our solid and reliable start, plenty of fans feel that the coming January transfer window is an opportunity our Board simply can’t waste given some of the football that we are playing at points as once again, talk of a dyed in the wool striker like Dwight Gayle, comes to the fore to absolutely ensure top spot and automatic promotion remains in our hands.

End product……..we need a world class centre forward/ finisher if we want to make an impact in the PL. But in the meantime, keep up the excellent work.#totalfootball

Good CF in Jan will see us champions

World class centre forwards cost about 100m+ these days? Not sure we'll buy one of those lol. A good championship striker (back up prem striker will do) Gayle ideally for 12m 45k would be good signing for couple years.

It’s almost telepathic. Our players instinctively know where each of their teammates are.

If ever there was a time to splash the cash and get a decent, Premier League striker, then this is it.

We shall see, but on the back of the season so far and that clip, it’s no surprise seeing Gayle comments return…nor digs at Tony Pulis.
