The 16-year-old attacker was the man of the show last night in West Brom’s FA Youth Cup victory over Scunthorpe United, with Richards scoring a sensational solo goal against the Irons to send the Baggies U-18 side to the fourth round of the prestigious English youth tournament.

Richards has been a well-known prospect in the youth academy for some time now, with The Express and Star reporting last month that the club were keen to tie the versatile teenage forward with West Brom after reported interest from the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City, and Albion fans on social media loved the youngster’s goal against Scunthorpe.
