West Brom have had some sensational loan players on their books over the past few years, yet there seems to be one that stands out from the pack.

A question was proposed on Twitter as to which former loan player would West Brom fans like the club to have signed at the time, and although he likes of Matheus Pereira and Dwight Gayle have been and continue to be brilliant for the Baggies, Romelu Lukaku was the clear favourite amongst supporters.
Should West Brom make the FA Cup a priority?
Yes, a Cup run is always good
No, we have to focus on promotion
The now Inter Milan striker was simply brilliant for West Brom his sole season with the Albion, with stats from Trasnfermarkt showing that the Belgian international managed 17 goals and seven assists in 35 Premier League games for the Baggies in the 2012/13 campaign, and supporters on social media wished the club had made the signing a permanent one at the time.
Here’s what West Brom fans had to say about Lukaku’s time at West Brom, with some supporters claiming that the club made a big mistake in not signing the former Chelsea striker after his brilliant year with the Baggies…
Lukaku at the time we had him. Christ what a missed opportunity that was. The big push on and sign of intent we needed. I was gutted we didn’t do it and take that leap of faith

Gotta be Lukaku. Others all were/are different class for us but you always could see Rom was going to be at top clubs winning stuff… not writing Barnes or Pereira off btw
