West Brom Starlet Withdraws From International Duty But No Reason For Panic

|

It’s been confirmed this week that on-loan Leicester City starlet Harvey Barnes has withdrawn from the England Under 21 squad this November international break – but West Bromwich Albion should have few concerns.

The 20-year-old talent is having a fantastic season for us so far under head coach Darren Moore and fans are now well aware of what he can do on the pitch, as in 19 appearances he’s returned six goals and three assists.

His latest goal came last weekend as we turned our own form around after a few defeats and took a heavy 4-1 victory over Leeds United on home soil, and Barnes did complete the game.

Having been given the England call for games against Italy and Denmark, he has now withdrawn from the group and returned to the club for assessment on an unstated issue so far, but it’s one which the Birmingham Mail believe won’t keep him out of contention for the upcoming tie against Ipswich Town when proper football returns.
