With rumours about the future of West Bromwich Albion centre-half Craig Dawson already returning this summer when it came to Burnley manager Sean Dyche apparently maintaining an interest in the 29-year-old after the failure to secure his signature last summer, we also have a new name in the fray.

The original Burnley speculation surfaced after a report suggested Dyche in fact had moved on and had no interest in him, but that’s the rumour mill for you.
Over the weekend the Sun repeated the Burnley end of the claims, but also suggested that Watford were now keeping tabs on him as they look to strengthen after their Premier League finish last season and their run to the FA Cup Final where they lost to Manchester City.
They state that Dawson has recently changed his agents, but his desire for a top flight return is hardly fresh news given last summer’s antics.
