Trip To Villa Park Set For Change?

Our trip to Villa Park in early March looks set to suffer a date change for one of two reasons.

The game was originally set to take place on Tuesday March 3rd with a 7.45pm kick off time, and as well as potentially being selected for live TV coverage owing to the derby element at play here, West Midlands Police have also categorically said that the match cannot take place on the same night as Birmingham host Blackpool.

For some reason the ever reliable fixture computer, failed to take this element into account and scheduled both Aston Villa and Birmingham City at home on the same day.

If the match is selected for TV it would revert to the Wednesday fixture slot, but if it’s not one of the clubs will have to make a change.
