Yes I’ve fallen in love with that jokey headline! Somen Tchoyi has said he knew he had to take his chance against Newcastle and show what he could do.

Speaking to wba.co.uk this morning Tchoyi spoke about his ‘proud moment’ in yesterdays game, grabbing the hattrick and taking home the match ball signed by his team mates – but more importantly he was pleased he was able to show what he is capable of on the pitch.

‘The game was not up for me at 3-0. I haven’t had enough time on the pitch and it was a chance to play and show what I can do. I still believed, it’s my first hattrick and I’m very proud of it.’

Tchoyi goes on to praise his colleagues for more than playing their part in the fightback and he’s definitely looking forward to his second season now he knows he’s on Roy Hodgson’s radar.
