“Starting To Make My Blood Boil” – Latest West Brom Speculation Causes A Mixed Reaction From Some

|

Following Leicester City’s recall of starlet Harvey Barnes, this week has seen claims that Manchester City may also recall on loan Tosin Adarabioyo from his spell at West Bromwich Albion.

Losing Barnes given the goal and creation threat he gave us was bad enough, although thankfully it didn’t bite in our last victory, but head coach Darren Moore relies on the 21-year-old defender and he already boasts 20 starting appearances to his name, with four additional showings from the substitutes bench in the campaign of 2018/19 and it would disrupt what has become a more steady, and reliable backline in recent times as we continue our march on winning promotion back to the Premier League at the first time of asking.

The original report seems to stem from the E&S and the suggestion is City are concerned about his lack of recent game time – especially in light of us being linked with Bournemouth defender Tyrone Mings.

Fair enough, he was on the bench for the Bolton Wanderers clash and he has been subbed off a few times in recent matches, but he hasn’t fallen out of favour, so I’m not so sure myself. Filling in at right-back isn’t his best position and he’s still learning and some fans are mixed on him – but I can only see if a recall if Mings does actually come in.
