WBA have announced that Steven Reid has today signed a new 2 year extension and will remain at the club until June 2014.

The 31 year old has played an important part for Roy Hodgson this season, and irrespective of Roy’s own future currently, the club are planning for next season.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Sporting and Technical Director Dan Ashworth said.

‘We’re delighted to have agreed a new contract with Steven. He’s had a good, solid season and proved he is still more than capable of playing Premier League football. He’s a fantastic person to have around the training ground and Steven is valued by the club not just because of what he brings to the field, but also his contribution off it.’
