West Bromwich Albion supporters have got loads of time for Jay Rodriguez. The Baggies fans loved him last season as he bagged an incredible 22 goals for them in the Championship (Transfermarkt), and last night he netted a belter against Manchester United for Burnley.
It was a moment that a lot of West Brom fans absolutely adored seeing, and whilst the striker is no lomger their man, it will have been easy to get behind the Clarets as they dominated and overcame Manchester United at Old Trafford, something which West Brom have done before.
In the season which the Baggies faced the drop, they had a late fightback with a number of brilliant results, and one of those saw a win away at Old Trafford thanks to a goal from the feet of Jay Rodriguez, so this is far from an anomaly.
