West Bromwich Albion have this afternoon confirmed the return of Goran Popov on loan for the 2013-14 campaign.

The deal just needs international clearance which is bound to be granted.

Just like last season, and despite recent ‘attributations’ (is that even a word?) to him, the deal is again with a view to a permanent deal depending on his progress.

He showed enough to be tempting last season I think, but no doubt Steve Clarke will be really looking for him to push on now already knowing the club, and more importantly the pace and style of the Premier League.

The 28 year old played 12 times last season.

Speaking to wba.co.uk our head coach said.

‘It was always our intention to get Goran back over the sumer. He knows what the club’s about and we know what he’s about. He’s a good player and it makes sense to bring him back. We will look for even more from him next season.’
