Jonas Olsson has said he realises why most are saying April is the month from hell for us, but frankly, he disagrees.

‘It’s a fair point that it doesn’t look good for us in April – but I disagree,’ Olsson told wba.co.uk.

‘We’ve been doing well against the big teams, and it doesn’t matter who you play now, the cliche that there’s no easy game is more relevant than ever this season.’

Olsson also added a little bit of detail to his heel scare earlier in the week, explaining that the issue arose because of a damaged orthopaedic aid in his boot.

‘The aid raises my hell but it broke in the first half so I felt my heel a little, I replaced it at half time, it was a lot better and I trained yesterday.’

Olsson admits he was a little nervous when he felt his heel because of the 10 week lay off he suffered earlier in the season because of it.

But he’s fully expecting to train properly with Sweden and feature for them, before returning to prepare for our upcoming games.
