Four Game Unbeaten Run Is Perfect Platform

James Morrison believes that the Baggies have done themselves the world of good by going unbeaten for four games since Roy Hodgson took charge.

Speaking to wba.co.uk Morrison said the points as well as the confidence gained from the last four games have given us a solid base to build from as we look to lift ourselves away from the bottom half of the table.

With so many teams separated by only a few points, he also thinks the relegation battle will go to the very last fixture, and he knows the team will have to play to the levels of intensity we have done recently in order to secure our Premiership future.

‘It’s going down to the wire, but if we take Saturday’s performance we might be alright. It looks like we’re going well.’

James obviously credits Hodgson with the change in performances, but he also applauds his team mates for adjusting to the new managers style quickly and for being prepared to put the work in as asked.

‘It’s a good start to Roy’s career as coach, but fair play to the lads for taking his methods on board and sticking with it. If we hadn’t got these results we’d have been way off the mark.’
