Bryan Robson has said he was overwhlemed by the reaction to the news that he had been diagnosed with throat cancer.
The 54 year old underwent surgery earlier this month and is very positive about his recovery. The former Baggy is also embarking on a 3 city charity tour in Asia which will benefit Manchester United’s charitable foundation and UNICEF.
Quoted on the Express & Star he said:
‘The prognosis is good, so I count myself lucky and am even more committed to raising funds to help vulnerable youngsters. I have been overwhelmed by the support of fans and well wishers.’
