It’s day two of the UK lockdown, and West Brom fans are still finding ways to keep themselves entertained, starting with the #UltimateQuaranTeam Fifa tournament, in which the Baggies watched on as Callum Robinson lost 5-1 to Ajax’s official e-sports player.
@AFCAjax playing a pro fifa player … comeee on your better than that !! Give it right go tho but what chance you got Thanks to all the streamers who tuned in!! I’ll learn from it and come back stronger @WBA

It was certainly a thrashing, but at least the Baggies can take the moral high ground knowing that they went into this light-hearted tournament the way it was intended, with a bit of fun and with a first-team player behind the controller, and Robinson did manage to score against the professional.
Whatever happens, the main point of the tournament is to raise money for a good cause, and Leyton Orient’s organised competition is certainly doing that, so even if the Baggies are frustrated to have seen Ajax take this so seriously, at least money is being raised.

The Baggies clearly understand that it’s all a bit of fun and will just be keen to see more light-hearted fun from their club.
