West Brom have been reaching out to help their supporters during this tough time with several players, past and present, phoning and chatting to fans.
Slaven Bilic’s side have not played a game for over six weeks now, with their last Championship result a 0-0 draw against Swansea on March 7. Of course, the current situation means players are working from home and they have had more free time on their hands as a result.
"I'm just so gobsmacked that you're all doing this. It makes such a difference. It really, really does."
You always support us. Now it's our time to support you. 💙#WBA pic.twitter.com/x1MrXbWCWc

So, Albion have been getting players to help out, with the club sharing a short video on Twitter of current and former players phoning round to fans, often on a birthday as they wish the supporter well on their special day. The likes of Charlie Austin, Chris Brunt and Jake Livermore are seen, among others, from the current team, whilst former favourites such as Brendon Batson and James Morrison are also involved.
Will West Brom be in the Premier League next season?
Yes
No
As you would expect, this classy gesture went down very well with the wide fan base, as they were delighted to see the club do all they can to help in this testing period. Here we look at some of the comments…
