Yassine El Ghanassy turned 22 today and has said he is ready to make an impact in the Premiership this season and earn himself a permanent move to the club.
Speaking to wba.co.uk in his first interview since joining the Albion on loan yesterday, El Ghanassy said.
‘My position is as a left or right winger and I like to run with the ball. I have some skills and I promise the team some skills. I expect that if I play some games, a lot of people will come and love my skills, and I hope that some people in West Brom will come and watch my skills. I’m very happy that I will be playing for this club.’
It’s a great chance for him no doubt, but he’ll need a little time to bed in and adjust, but hopefully by the second half of the season we’ll get to see some of these ‘skills’ in action.
