Chris Brunt has said that Jerome Thomas’ performance levels since returning from his loan spell will certainly have given Steve Clarke food for thought.
After injuries hampered his season, Thomas got himself fit and in form during his spell at Leeds, and Brunt told wba.co.uk that Albion were now reaping the rewards of that with how Thomas has played of late.
‘He’s gone out on loan to Leeds, played a few games, and come back and looked pretty sharp. JT is a good player and he gives us something different. He gets at people, takes people on and stays pretty wide, which gives you width. He’s done well since he came back, it’s another body, more competition and it gives the gaffer another headache.’
