Peter Odemwingie has praised the supporters for their role in helping us to come from two behind in the derby game against Villa.

Speaking to wba.co.uk the striker said.

‘The gaffer said at half time it was important to get the next goal and we felt that if we got the first, the crowd would score the second for us. By scoring the next goal, you make everyone inside the stadium believe that you can get the equaliser, especially when you have another 40 minutes to score it. The fans believed we could.’

Peter also admitted that it was our own fault that we found ourselves in that position, because we just didn’t start the game properly, although he was pleased with the character of the squad to keep going and get us back in it.
