West Brom’s Premier League season continued with a draw against Tottenham at the Hawthorns on Saturday.

The Baggies, as the title says, ‘battled back’ from a goal down to earn a share of the points in this one-one draw, which keeps them in 13th.

Spurs went ahead when Toby Alderweireld’s pass to Dele Alli saw the England man volley past West Brom ‘keeper Boaz Myhill but James McClean headed an equaliser before the break, which is how it ended, to earn the Baggies a point.

The other results this weekend were as follows:-

Saturday 5th December
Stoke 2-0 Man City
Arsenal 3-1 Sunderland
Man Utd 0-0 West Ham
Southampton 1-1 Aston Villa
Swansea 0-3 Leicester
Watford 2-0 Norwich
West Brom 1-1 Tottenham
Chelsea 0-1 Bournemouth

Sunday 6th December 2015
Newcastle 2-0 Liverpool

Before this round of games are over we’ve got one more game on Monday:-

Monday 7th December 2015
Everton v Crystal Palace 20:00

Looking at these results (so far) the stand out ones have to be the wins for Stoke, Bournemouth and Newcastle.

Man City losing at Stoke, with the Potters running out two-nil winners was topped, even though they’ve been ‘struggling’ this season as it, by Bournemouth becoming the latest side to win at Stamford Bridge when the Cherries scored late on to beat Chelsea one-nil!

It wasn’t one that could top the Bournemouth one, however a much needed Newcastle win as the Toon saw off Liverpool two-nil at St James’ Park eased some pressure on Steve McClaren who, apparently, had (before this) only two-matches save his job….
