West Brom are in a great position to win promotion back to the Premier League, with Slaven Bilic’s side second in the table right now.

If Albion do return to the top-flight it will be nothing new for most of the fans, as the Baggies have been up and down the divisions quite regularly over the years. And, one promotion that will stand out to many on the terraces was when Tony Mowbray’s men won the title back in 2008. The game that secured the league came 12 years ago yesterday, with a header from Do-Heon Kim and a superb Chris Brunt free-kick sealing the points.

The club looked back at the win on Twitter yesterday and they also got six influential figures from that team together for a group chat, with Paul Robinson, Jonathan Greening, James Morrison, Zoltan Gera and Kevin Phillips joining Brunt on a video call.
