West Brom Get First Deadline Day Recruit Through The Door

|

With West Bromwich Albion seemingly focusing on three deadline day captures, a short time ago we confirmed that the first one had officially come through the door and it was West Ham United youngster Grady Diangana.

West Brom Hoping For Three Deadline Day Deals & Southampton Links Are Back

The 21-year-old attacking midfielder made 21 appearances for West Ham last season, scoring twice, and he arrives at The Hawthorns to take the No 29 shirt (he’ll sport Diang on the back) on a season long loan.

He knows Kyle Edwards from England youth duty, so also knowing gaffer Slaven Bilic he should settle in nicely I would think.

With how highly rated Declan Rice is at the London Stadium, I’m sure West Brom fans will appreciate his words when the move went through. He Tweeted out “West Brom got a serious player on there hands. all the best to my boy” but it appears the Tweet has now disappeared.

Sky Sports News on the telebox are also claiming that they believe Charlie Austin has now passed his medical so we should soon have an update on that front.
