Jerome Thomas knows that our immediate aim next season is survival again, but he’d love to add a cup run to our highlight list if he can.

Speaking to wba.co.uk the 28 year old winger believes that Albion should be more than capable of replicating Stoke’s unforeseen run to the FA Cup Final or Birmingham’s Carling Cup Final success if they put their minds to it.

‘I think with the influence Roy’s had and his experience we can definitely push to stay in mid-table next season.’

Adding about the Cups, he says.

‘In the cups we’ve seen Birmingham do it and how well Stoke did, there is no way that you can tell me those two teams are better than us…of course it’s something we can aim for next season.’

Looks like the camp is looking up for the new season!
