Roy Hodgson reserved special praise for Ben Foster, Marc-Antoine Fortune and Graham Dorrans as he gave credit to the lads for their performance today.

Speaking to wba.co.uk he said firstly of Foster.

‘We have a great debt to Ben Foster, who at 1-0 made a magnificent save and I agree the double save was the game changer.’

Moving on, Hodgson added.

‘Fortune has been like a new signing for us, and so was Dorrans today. He’s waited a long time for his chance and I was very pleased for both of those two.’

Hodgson continues to say that there will be some in the squad gagging for their chance to get on the pitch again so they can show what they can do, and even though injuries have hit, he’s been pleased to see people stepping up to the plate and taking their chance.
