Bryan Robson`s Baggies are set to play their last game of a three-game tour of Scotland when they travel to face Dunfermline on Tuesday evening.

The Baggies have so far travelled to Kilmarnock and Motherwell recording one win and a loss. Albion travelled to Kilmarnock last Thursday night where they were on the wrong end of a 2-1 defeat thanks to goals from Paul Di Giacomo and Colin Nish with Martin Albrechtsen replying for the Baggies.

Albion boss Robson admitted that his players could not afford to feel ‘hung over` from last season`s relegation and needed to start playing their football during these warm-up games.

The Baggies players took their managers words on board and impressed during their second tour game at Motherwell where the Baggies beat their Scottish opponents 2-1. Albion played well first-half passing the ball around with confidence and an improvement on their previous warm-up games.

Albion beat Motherwell thanks to a first goal in Baggies colours from ‘Big` John Hartson and an own goal. The game also marked the first appearance in an Albion shirt for Swiss goalkeeper Pascal Zuberbuhler who could do nothing with Motherwell`s goal.

Albion now face Dunfermline in their final tour appearance and they will be hoping to sign off with a win. The Baggies failed to win last season away from home so these victories away from The Hawthorns will boost confidence within the Albion squad.

From what I have heard from my contacts north of the border two former Baggies boo-boys are starting to get their heads down and catch the eye. Midfielder and former Bluenose Darren Carter has caught the eye during pre-season and Nathan Ellington was the best striker on the pitch against Motherwell, hopefully the former Wigan striker is putting this summers transfer rumours behind him after being told he is not going anywhere.
