Report: West Brom to launch assault for £20m-rated prodigy with 5G/5A if club achieve PL dream

|

West Brom are reportedly keen on signing Grady Diangana on a permanent deal if the Baggies can achieve promotion to the Premier League this season.

According to The Sun via Leeds Live, Slaven Bilic is eager to push for a permanent move for Diangana in the summer transfer window should West Brom achieve their dream of clinching promotion back to the English top-flight this year, with the Baggies currently duking it out with Leeds United for the top spot in the Championship table.

Although Diangana has been out for the past few weeks due to injury, the West Ham loanee has been in impressive form for the majority of the season, with the England youth international hitting five goals and five assists in the Championship so far, and West Brom could have a shot at landing the Premier League prodigy in the summer should they claim promotion.

Should West Brom sign Diangana permanently?

Yes

No

As Steve Madeley of The Athletic revealed last month, Diangana is enjoying his time at West Brom and the club will seemingly go in for the attacker in the summer transfer window, with West Ham likely seeking £20m for their academy graduate, yet the asking price could be reduced should the Hammers fall into the Championship.

Diangana has been a great addition for West Brom this season, with Bilic again proving that loan signings can be a big help to a side in the Championship with Matheus Pereira and Filip Krovinovic thriving with the Baggies this term, and with the Brazilian attacker set to become a permanent signing this month, the Albion should be pushing for the same with the England youngster.

Promotion to the Premier League will be a huge dream accomplished for West Brom if they can manage it with nine games remaining in the Championship season, and retaining Diangana for next year could be huge in the Baggies making an instant impact in the English top-flight.
