West Bromwich Albion fans have got an awful lot of love for Slaven Bilic, and it’s clear to see why seeing as he’s turned them into the highest-scoring and hardest to beat side in the Championship this season (BBC), but he’s no Gary Megson.

The fans have been sent the question from their club’s official Twitter account asking for their favourite Gary Megson memories, and there have been loads flooding in given how much the Baggies adore their former manager.
Megson took charge of the Baggies on a whopping 149 times over a four year period between 2000 and 2004 (Transfermarkt), and he made memories with the fans that will never be forgotten, leading to all associated with Albion referring to him as ‘Sir Gary Megson’.
You can read the Baggies’ thoughts on Megson here:
The apparent motivation he gave the players prior to the Palace game and eventual first promotion to the PL. He called the partners and children of the players into the dressing room prior to the game and told the players to do it for them!
He gave us our respect back.

One of THE most significant managerial apointments our club has EVER made. We were in danger of slipping into a big abyss, Sir Meggo stopped that and then turned it around BIG TIME.
