Moore Targeting Bournemouth Man To Bolster West Brom’s Promotion Charge

|

It was being reported yesterday morning that West Bromwich Albion had a serious interest in trying to bring in Bournemouth defender Tyrone Mings in the final week and a bit of the January transfer window.

With head coach Darren Moore making no secret of the fact he was looking for right side cover at the club, seeing numerous deals fall down from Jack Stacey to reported interest in Rangers fullback James Tavernier, we did draft in Tyrone Mears but he’s always split fans.

25-year-old Mings has only two Premier League appearances to his name for Eddie Howe’s side so far this year, and he’s attracting a fair amount of interest according to Sky Sports but they believe we are in pole position and The Hawthorns will be his most likely destination.

With Mears leaving at the end of this month as his short-term contract expires, the link makes sense on that front.

I guess we’ll soon find out if there is anything in it, or not.
