Peter Odemwingie has said he is delighted to see Fortune rewarded with the club taking up the 12 month option following his return to form this season.
Speaking to wba.co.uk Odemwingie said of his strike partner.
‘Marco really disturbs the opposition defence and he really helps the team a lot. Thankfully the way that the fans applauded him at the end of every game meant that they did see the work he was doing and realised his contribution was massive. He kept his head up and kept going, and in the end he really played an important part in where we ended up.’
