Neil Clement has been ruled out for the rest of the campaing as he continues his rehabilitation from the knee injury suffered in the pre-season match against Real Mallorca.
Altough initially expected to be back in the New Year, the club and Mowbray have now confirmed that although his recovery is going to plan, this means he’ll only be back in time for next seasons pre-season.
After his excellent performances upon his return from Hull at the end of the last campaign, I was hoping to see our longest serving player get a chance this year although now that is not to be. Clem has been increasingly susceptible to injury in the past few years and at 30 is no spring chicken. I wish his a trouble free recovery and hope to see him back as regualr fixture in the Stripes.
