Chris Brunt has talked about what a big loss Zoltan Gera will be for us this season, and called on the team to ensure he has a Premiership gift to return to.
Speaking to wba.co.uk following the news that Gera would miss the remainder of this campaign, Brunt said.
‘I wasn’t far away from the incident and I could see it was pretty bad. It was great to get him back and we saw last week how good a player he is. It’s gutting for him, we’re devastated for him.’
Brunt continued to say that it was up to the squad now to reach our aim and ensure Gera returns next season to top flight football.
‘We have to try and make sure he comes back fit next season as a Premier League player. Hopefully he’ll be back fit and ready for next season in the Premier League.’
