Former Middlesbrough and Sheffield Wednesday winger Chris Brunt is eager to impress Albion boss Tony Mowbray after he completed his move last Thursday.
Brunt is currently serving a three match ban and will miss the Baggies trip to Sheffield this Saturday when they face former boss Bryan Robson at Bramall Lane.
Brunt said: ‘West Brom have shown a lot of faith in me by paying the fee that Wednesday asked for, and I’m just glad to be here. Hopefully I can start repaying it as soon as possible’
The former Boro Winger missed the 2-0 victory over Preston and his place was taken up by Ishmael Miller who turned down a move to Hillsborough and subsequently netted a debut goal.
‘I could have gone to Preston, Hull or Sheffield Wednesday,’ revealed Miller, ‘but West Brom was my number one choice’
