Sunderland have completed the signing of former Manchester United and Glasgow Rangers defender Paul McShane from West Bromwich Albion.
McShane, 21 leaves the Hawthorns for the Stadium of Light in a £1,500,000 deal that could rise to a further million depending on appearances and avoiding relegation etc.
The former Red Devils defender is the Premier League clubs’ fifth signing this season after manager Roy Keane have persuaded; Kerian Richardson, Michael Chopra, Dickson Etuhu and Russell Anderson in deals that total up to £9,300,000.
