West Bromwich Albion are ready to listen to offers for former West Ham United and Celtic striker John Hartson after deemed surplus to requirements.

Hartson, 32 joined Albion in a £500,000 deal last summer from Glasgow Celtic but only featured as a fringe player last season and netted only six goals in the Championship.

It is believed that hometown club Swansea City are interested who are looking to replace Lee Trundle who recently signed for Bristol City in a £1,000,000 deal. Former Baggies boss Bryan Robson (Sheffield United) was also rumoured to be interested in him only a few weeks ago.
