It’s being reported by two different papers today that Saido Berahino is on the verge of a move to Tottenham Hotspur, but equally Manchester United’s Jonny Evens could be on his way to us.
Beginning with Berahino, the Mirror are reporting that personal terms have now been agreed between him and the White Hart Lane outfit and the deal is said to be in the region of £100,000 a week.
A transfer fee of around £20million is however yet to be agreed with us, but is close hence why he has permission to speak to them.
That’s about as much as I can find on the specifics of that story, but it is a Sunday and they fill the redtops with something don’t they.
Equally The Metro say we have joined the race for Northern Ireland international Evans.
The 27 year old who has almost 200 appearances to his name with United, is supposedly set for a move away from the club and Arsenal, Everton and Stoke have been linked with £12million moves for him.
