5 Shots & 1 Key Pass Sees West Brom Man Stand Out Against Hull City

|

With interim head coach Jimmy Shan adding to his backroom team in midweek and bringing Steven Reid back to the club as an assistant, West Bromwich Albion fans actually had something to properly celebrate after our more recent weeks.

It boded well for Shan as well as he focused on the job at hand and the players backed him up almost superbly on Good Friday as we took three points from our Championship clash with Hull City.

Having taken the lead, we had to fight back from behind but goals on the day from Kieran Gibbs and Dwight Gayle secured the points, and statistics website Whoscored were only going to have one star man after that, and Gayle duly picked up their Man of the Match with a score of 8.84.

Kieran Gibbs took second spot with a rating of 8.31 of his own, and completing the top five on the day were Chris Brunt (7.37), Tosin Adarabioyo (7.18) and Kyle Bartley (7.17).

A ten point buffer in the Play-Off spots should ease some of the tension.
