Youngster Extends Loan Deal

West Brom have agreed to Stuart Nicholson remain on loan with Bristol Rovers for a while longer.

Striker Nicholson`s current loan comes to an end after Rovers play Swndon Town on Saturday but now the 19 year old will remain at the Memorial Ground for a further two months.

Nicholson has made five appearances for Rovers and found the net twice.

A club spokesman said: ‘We expect the paperwork to be completed over the next couple of days.

‘He will still be ineligible to feature in our FA Cup matches for as long as West Brom are still in the competition but the new deal will carry a recall clause which allows West Brom to bring their player back to the club with 24 hours’ notice.’
