West Brom will be looking to capitalise on the slip-ups that both Watford and Charlton had on Tuesday night, after both sides lost.

Should West Brom return from Plymouth with all three points they will close the gap on current Championship leaders Watford to just two points, after they surprisingly lost 2-1 to Burnley. The gap will also be extended between second and third place after Charlton lost 3-0 at home to Sheffield United.

Plymouth however will be looking to impress their returning manager Paul Sturrock, who returned to the club during the week, and will know that a victory would take them to within a point of second placed West Brom.

The task will be made tougher for West Brom with both Ishmael Miller and Kevin Phillips, a 19-goal strike pairing, missing through injury.
