Jerome Thomas has returned to training ahead of the Black Country Derby but there are doubts surrounding the remaining injured trio.
Despite the good news about Thomas, it’s looking likely that Brunt, Jara and Reid will all still miss the clash on Sunday.
Speaking to wba.co.uk assistant boss Michael Appleton said.
‘Jerome trained with us yesterday and as far as I’m aware there hasn’t been any reaction from the injury. With the rest we are monitoring them but we probably won’t have a firm idea until the end of the week.’
In other news, it’s looking like Graham Dorrans will definitely not make a return this season, Marek Cech has returned to training and Zuiverloon is having shoulder issues.
